These days we all need to be careful when processing documents. Criminal elements are on the loose and we can all be victims of their unscrupulous acts. We should be careful not to divulge confidential information to individuals we do not know because they could use to advance their own personal interests.

I was in the airport the other day to process my papers for our upcoming out of town trip. I was amazed at how early most of the people were on the airport. It is understandable because no one wants to be delayed with their papers before their trip. Many of them brought along their personalized travel documents.

While waiting for my turn, I decided to eat my breakfast first. On the way, I saw a lot of vendors doing about with their business. On one side there was a group of vendors selling promotional travel gifts. There was another set of vendors selling custom keychains.

As I was getting near the canteen, a shop selling an imprinted alarm clock caught my interest. It was one of a kind something I had never seen before. I promised the vendor that I will come back and buy the promotional alarm clock before I go home.

Promotional pens have given companies with limited budget an alternative solution for pushing their products and services. By imprinting their name and logo on the product, a company would be able to boost their position in their target market. This way, they do not have to spend a lot of money on advertising their business.

A friend of mine capitalized on these promotional items when he and several other individuals decided to venture into a catering business. A week before the opening of their business, they conducted a taste test in our community’s social hall. Selected families were invited to grace the affair and after the taste test, each family were given marketing knives as a prize.

My mother had a friend who was into producing promotional caps for marketing purposes. They had a lot of corporate clients and most of them belonged to the top level firms. As these companies were bringing in profits, my mother’s friend decided to produce golf caps no logo to ensure their loyalty.

One of the best venues where companies can showcase their products and services is a trade show. These events provide an opportunity for companies to instantly get clients or receive referrals. People who drop by in the booth of a company would usually take home a corporate gift.
